Analyze your Lichess games with move grades

Paste a Lichess game link for an instant review, or enter a username to browse recent games. You get Chess.com-style move grades and accuracy on top of Stockfish 19, in your browser.
  • Stockfish 19 runs in your browser
  • Move grades, accuracy and key moments
  • No account, no ads, no premium tier

Paste a game URL to analyse one game, or a username for your recent games.

Games are analysed locally. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share a report.

How it works

  1. 1

Paste a link or a username

A game URL such as lichess.org/abcd1234 goes straight to analysis. A username lists your recent standard games.

  2. 2

    Pick the depth

Lichess's own server analysis is excellent; here you choose the depth and can go deeper on the moves that matter.

  3. 3

    Read the report

Eleven move grades, accuracy by phase, key moments and the engine's alternative for every slip.

What you get

Lichess data, Chessblood report

Lichess exports games with the opening name, both ratings, the clock settings and the result. We keep all of it: the report header shows the opening and ECO code, and the move list is annotated with grades computed from Stockfish’s evaluation of each position.

If you are used to Lichess’s three labels, the extra grades are easy to read: excellent and good sit between best and inaccuracy, brilliant and great reward sacrifices and only moves, and missed win flags the moment a won game slipped back to equal.

Chessblood is an independent project and is not affiliated with Lichess. Lichess is free and open-source software; we are grateful for its public API.

Frequently asked questions

Lichess already has free analysis. Why use this?
Lichess's server analysis is free and good. Chessblood adds move grades such as brilliant and missed win, an accuracy breakdown by phase, key moments, coach notes and the ability to pick a deeper depth, and it lets you compare games from Lichess and Chess.com in one place.
Which links work?
Links of the form lichess.org/abcd1234, with or without the colour suffix or a move anchor. Study and broadcast links are not games; export the PGN from the study and paste it instead.
Are variants supported?
No. Chess960, Crazyhouse and the other variants are skipped because the engine and the grading rules assume standard chess.
What about correspondence games?
They are included when you import by username, listed as correspondence.
Will the evaluations match Lichess's?
They come from the same engine family, so they will be similar. Lichess's server analysis uses a fixed node count; here you choose a depth, so numbers can differ slightly, especially in sharp positions.
